Neil is a valuation expert with more than two decades of valuation and consulting experience delivering value for clients in complex assignments involving individual assets and portfolios of income-producing commercial and industrial properties. He brings extensive domestic and international experience appraising and successfully managing asset value for a wide range of clients, including major public and private corporations as well as the United States government. Currently, he specializes in Advisory Services focused real estate for the team.

Neil helps clients stay ahead of business valuation developments with deep first-hand knowledge of the economic, financial, and market factors that drive the development of real estate policy. His collateral experience includes transaction advisory, acquisition and financing due diligence, land use and marketability studies, appraisal review and concurrence, and project feasibility. He has inspected and led valuations of numerous commercial property types around the U.S. and the world, notably major office buildings, multi-family residential developments, regional shopping centers, industrial and warehouse facilities, hotels, and special use properties. Additionally, he is well-versed in navigating complex business environments throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, having managed assignments in more than half the metropolitan areas in the U.S. and U.S. Territories and in more than 10 countries – including China, England, Netherlands, Cayman Islands, Australia, Canada, and Mexico.

Previously, Neil was a Director in the Valuation Advisory division at Stout. Prior to that, he led RSM’s real estate valuation consulting group’s Northeast Practice as a Director. He has cultivated widereaching institutional networks and a client-centric approach from his time leading teams at FMV Opinions, Deloitte, and Arthur Andersen.

Neil is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He lives with his family in New York City.
